Social Media Week celebration in Bangalore was a grand success and a well-received event. As part of the event, our Thinker – in – Chief Sorav Jain was invited by Lonely Planet in association with the Social Media Week team to conduct a session on Online Travel Marketing. The interactive session was a great success and all the participants from the travel industry were very happy to learn how to leverage their products & services on Social Media.
The session focused on how to ideate an online marketing plan and execute them. Sorav says online marketing can be done in two ways – content marketing and community marketing. It starts of from demographic classification to what content has to be put up to which audience.
